Can't beat a good old fashioned stadium!!!

My top 3 old un's were:
    1) Burnden Park
    2) Baseball ground
And my absolute favourite was Maine Road!!! What an atmosphere, tense, nasty but generally a top stadium

    Losing 1-0 penalty

Terrible performance from who ever is playing for us

    Only our keeper playing well

Even saved penalty twice before they headed it in

    Very poor

Number 7 for frickley is a great player

Burnden Park had the distinct disadvantage of your view being blocked by a carelessly placed supermarket. Apart from that it was brill!

I liked Stockport too and also Luton

Maine road was frightening at times but a proper ground

Last time I went their think we lost 7-0

You deserve a medal. Hopefully the second half will give you something to cheer about.

Well just got back that was very poor

To be fair we were horrendous

Not a single player other than keeper that looked anything like a decent prospect

Only played the first half, looked a very good player. Strong runner, tenacious and had the beating of our players first half. As has been mentioned their number 7 looked a good player, quick and a good dribbler. Overall no one stood out, number 14 for us tall thin black lad showed some nice touches, dunno who it was.

Second half was a big improvement and probably deserved an equaliser, but agreed that first half Frickley could have had 3 or 4 and the keeper had a great game...

Many of you there? Considered going but realised we'd be fielding an U21 side with tomorrow in mind so didn't bother.

Anybody know why they don't play at frickley

Their ground is currently in south Elmsall

Always played at Westfield Lane, in South Elmsall. They used to be connected to Frickley Colliery, with miners contributing weekly through a small stoppage in wages, that's when they hit the heights of the conference.

    Cheers mate appreciated

    Great little set up

Their PA system was better than hours

And the scoreboard ( they didn't have one but it was still better than ours )
