Yes it's another midfielder but last season we never really had a creative midfielder did we? No we've got two in Rothwell and this guy If we sign him I think that gives us real flexibility as to the midfield. We could either play a diamond with Williams at the tip (or Crowley or Rothwell), Hourihane and Scowen behind then Pearson in a defensive role Or we could play 3-5-2 but in more of a 3-4-1-2 way, with full back playing attacking, Hourihane and Scowen in the middle then an attacking midfielder between them and the strikers, or when playing more defensively play 3-1-4-2 with Pearson behind the central midfielders and no attacking midfielder Or we could just play traditional 4-4-2 with Williams and Watkins out wide. I'm not sure if Crowley can play wide
Couldn't agree more on both counts. We've plenty of midfielders and four loans before the season starts is excessive. We should have known not to trust the club when they said we'd no longer become reliant on loan signings, because it's not the first time over the years they haven't done as they said.
Yes, but another way of looking at it is that if a loan signing spends a full season in our first team it means that he will have probably been one of our longest serving players come the end of the season. Loads of our permanent signings over the past few seasons haven't managed more than a handful of games for us, whilst if we have anybody in the team who is any good they're often gone in January!
He takes a good free kick http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ck-Arsenal-youngster-enhances-reputation.html

Depends if there is a Drinkwater type clause where he can be called back anytime and sold on when we make a player of him. Would seem like we'd have no chance of signing him permanent. Just don't like us filing up our loan quota so quick. Now if one or two impress and become permanent in January that won't be so bad.
We've signed one of the brightest prospects in the country on loan? Boooooo, Ben must go, and LJ, and PC, and Mo W, and Lindleys, oh right they have gone, booooooo, feckin rubbish bfc. ☺
