    Totally agree my friend though I suppose it depends on the logistics of where he would prefer to be based.
    He may be happy down south in which case Southend may be the more appealing club for him.

    Should be a fairly straight move. Wouldn't be a step up moving to Notts County compared to both Southend and us. We're a big club at this level whereas Southend aren't so if he wants to get to the highest level possible, he should be set for a move to South Yorkshire

    If its purely a footballing decision we'd win hands down. However, if he currently lives in/around London area he maybe would opt to stay there or Notts is closer to where he's from. Either way I dont think he's a must, Winnall is our goalscorer and is a better player, we need a target man.

    If he has any sense about him then he'll see he scored 21 goals last year with a relegated team and only has to do a bit of homework and look at the midfield he will have playing behind him and see there's no reason why he can't get 30 with Hourihane, Scowen, Williams, Rothwell and Crowley around.

    I'm not confident we will get him. I think we would have done a deal by now. I said this about the lad Kelly at Oldham when we were hotly tipped for him. Although I may be wrong as the Crawley press are certain he will leave.

    Exactly it's not all about the club. John Sheridan and Nathan Clarke both this year left Plymouth and Leyton Orient for family reasons wanting to move back up north.
