A term in his contract at Blackpool been activated for a year extension. Wage has dropped to £150 per week. It has a £33 per playing minute clause but that wont help him as "he is not in the new managers plans for next season". Basically unless he gets someone to actualy buy him for real money he may be in serious finacial trouble. Its already started as reports are he asked for an advance on his wage for petrol from london to back to blackpool and they refused. Shame couldnt be happening to a nicer man.

Not defending him and what he's done, but to ask him to report to training and then when he gets there tell him to go away 'cos he's not needed is out of order.

I wish nothing but misery on him, not because he was **** for us but because he is a **** human being.

I suppose it's payback time for all the times he hasn't turned up for training because he couldn't be arsed

Brilliant read from yesterday. Even though he's not been playing I can see why Oyston has gone and renewed his contract. Ranger will have been hoping to leave the club and earn better money elsewhere. Oyston will be pissed off that Ranger has been a dick the whole time he's been at Blackpool. But the amount a week he will get away with paying Ranger with will be worth it to him to piss him off and get his own back. Nile screwed around with Blackpool and now he could end up with money worries because Blackpool have decided quite rightly to play him at his own game. Plus they will now get a fee if someone is stupid enough to want him.

Maybe now Ranger will think more in the future, but I doubt it. I think it's quite hillarious his contract has been renewed. They are doing nothing wrong because they are only doing something he agreed to have put in his deal in the first place. The worrying thing for me is the article saying every club he's been at have said he's a good lad. I would love to know who they spoke to at Oakwell who was silly enough to put on record that Nile Ranger is a good lad.

No sympathy for a bloke who used to post photos of his own wage slip in an effort to show off.

I hope he's saved up the money he never earned at various clubs.

Maybe we could have a whip round or start an online fundraising page for him?
