    Not a wind up nudger. Not sure why it isn't on the BBC site but its been on other news sites and confirmed by Spanish authorities

    I can't say her life's work moved me, but then again I could say that for 99.99999999% of the world's population.

    Many years ago i managed the nightingale pub in denham, the place where many a star could be seen, roger moore john mills, paul danniels and of course miss cilla black,
    Whilst none of the above would be seen dead in my gaff, ( it was always full of the local gypsie families and other down to earth folk.lol)

    Miss black was hated with a vengence in the village, she never spoke the same as she did on the telly , she was so aloof wouldnt give anyone the time of day.she would come down to the village post office in her sun glasses and fur coat what ever the weather, speaking with such a false accent, trying to hide from her liverpudlian roots she was down right rude and gave the impression the rest of us were **** on her shoes.
    paul danniels totally different, would walk in to the post office say hello do magic tricks for the kids, if the post office was full hed wait his turn hed buy sweets for the kids and was a decent bloke .....not your cilla.......unless things altered over the years i doubt and would be surprised if many are shredding a tear in denham.
