    Northern based club in the Championship is his likely destination: Bolton, Blackburn, Leeds, Rotherham or Sheffield Wednesday I would say.

    If the rumours are true and we are planning on signing someone for £400k + wages, surely we could afford a season long loan for ALF.

    Don't think money would be the problem, more that he's better than L1

    I'd love him to come here, but I'm betting he is going to Bolton, he was on loan there last season and he had a good goal ratio with them, I can't see why they wouldn't want him and I can't see him choosing us over them what with him already knowing the Bolton set-up / team mates and likely having to take a wage cut to come here.
