you would have to have ten pints to be £3 worse off. So what, whoopee as one might say. And if you have enough money to afford ten pints, then £3 doesn't mean a jot does it. So who gives a flying ****? hopethishelps cos it should
Technically you're right, however there is a tipping point, after which people won't buy. £3.70 is on the edge of what most people will pay for any pint. Personally, I'd have to think twice before going much over £2.50 for a pint of Worthington or Coors, even if there was no other beer available. On the other hand, I'd happily pay £4 and over for a pint of proper micro-brewed IPA. I do however accept that I'm not a typical customer, and most don't care as long as it's cold and wet.
Never been one for drinking in the ground, it's horrible under the East Stand...it's a shame as there's plenty of room for a pub to be put on a mezzanine floor that people would actually want to go to, they could open it all week. If that's unrealistic then surely just tarting the concourses up a bit wouldn't cost the earth. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
