    An excellent write up, as per usual, Andy.
    It got me thinking (an extremely rare event in itself!). In all the years I've been watching us, I've only seen Barnsley win away on the opening day of the season twice. The last occasion was back in 1996 when we beat WBA 2-1 with goals from Marcelle & Liddell. The only other time was in 1976, 1-0 at Brentford with a first half Alistair Millar goal.
    I think it's about time we registered another away victory.

    I'd assumed it was a free transfer, mate. My apologies. I also stated we'd signed Alfie from L2 when in reality, he was at a Championship club. It's the first blog of the season, it'll get better as everything gels etc. :D
