Firstly it was totally hyped by the police. We got in chesterfield at half 11 and everywhere we looked there were police everywhere. As for the end of the game it was total shambles of their part. When they don't want people to league would it make sense to stand in front of the gates instead of blocking the gangway? Stewards we're complaining about it at the end that the police got what they wanted.

As for the game what a excellent start with a nice bit of play from crowley to set up wilkinson. Then we had the winnall chance where he went with the outside of the foot instead of putting his foot through it.

Thought first half Roberts and mawson were really solid. Watkins looked ok when he came on. But was really disappointing second half but there is a long way to go and still a couple of signings to be made.

The whole organisation was a shambles. The pubs that they recommended to away fans we was not allowed in. The places that they recommended to park you could get a fine for parking there.

Heard the stewards on the way out saying the police have got what they wanted. Also a lady steward complaing about her head cos a police officer had pushed her out of way into a wall

I get the feeling that a lot of our away day ventures will be similar to this. Our mindless minority have a lot to answer for

It also seems an even larger minority don't want to blame the w@nkers who bring the police presence on us.

We do have some numpties who follow us no worse then any other club in this league, although seeing young lads carrying on with a bloke in the queue for drinks and then some of their pals threw a plastic cup at back of him made me abit ashamed to be a red. But they could have just let us out when the third went in or if you are going to keep us in at least let us use the toilets little kids and old men busting for a piss what a joke. Even the stewards I spoke to were shocked by the police.

It is always very easy to blame the police who are just reacting to the appalling way some of our fans behave at games.

They knew they was going to keep us in before kick off as we were all given slips of paper saying we would be kept back ten to fifteen minutes.

I agree mate, probably wasn't handled as well as it could have but this level of police attention has been brought on by the numpties that follow us, that can't be argued with.

Early in the 2nd half we had a bloke sit on the steps at the end of the row in front of us. Steward came over and asked him if he'd go to his seat as he can't sit there. He just refused, ended up with a couple of stewards coming over and 5 minutes of arguing. Just fvkin move you total tw@t.

"We're barnsley fc, we'll do what we want" - embarrassing.

Little morons trying to push in in queue ay half time. with our support its young lads who cant handle ale and older ens who should know better. But police got what they wanted today and made us all look bad bunch
