    The last 20 minutes, all attention was on the fans arguing with the Police/ Stewards.

    Yes, 20 minutes, where everyone was so distracted that they forgot about actually supporting the team they had come to watch. Brilliant. Let's all go to Chesterfield to argue with the Police.

    Funny how most fans hate hooligans but 90% of Barnsley fans spent 20 minutes watching them argue with police and stewards

    If you dislike it that much watch the game instead

    Exactly, I didn't go today and won't go to away games for this exact reason. If I saw people pushing and shouting things near me, I'd be too scared to do anything but watch them to make sure they didn't start problems with me.

    For the last 20 minutes I watched the match. Seemed more interesting than watching teenagers acting daft and grown men in uniforms acting dafter.

    ??? I only ever went to watch the game. I didn't go to watch the pathetic side show. Did you go to watch the fans??

    I kind of hoped that our fans went to watch THE GAME.

    I'm an information gatherer. If I see trouble around me I'm going to try to get as much information as I can. What is the trouble? Who is involved? Why? What are they saying/suggesting they are going to do next? Where exactly? I don't mean that I take a notepad and pen but my attention goes to the trouble to get that information in my head and as you said its to make sure they don't cause problems with me. If I can't work out what is happening with more detail then I can take steps to keep myself safe and sadly when it comes to Barnsley fc the only way I can think of is to stop attending away games.

    I rarely miss away games and very rarely see any trouble. if you want trouble you can find it if you don't you don't.

    From my own prospective i was not worried one bit about my own safety.

    After being told I could not leave I just stood to one side out of the way, admittedly i wasn't happy, but that's how it was!
