didn,t say that did i , but what do you want to see on a tele in a football ground really? that you cannot see later, you go to watch Barnsley, what did we do before there were tvs in the stands, but for some fans it seem very important , me myself couldn,t care less

TV's were on in the Ponty - to be honest if I wanted to watch soccer Sarurday I would have stayed at home. Only ground entertainment in the 80's was the clap clap song and looking through the gaps in the floor of the brewery stand . Think we've come along way and are certainly a lot better than some grounds.

Think that really annoyed me today was when they called the CK Beckett Ponty End - we all know it's he South Stand :)

The only time I'd imagine anyone would watch tv at a football ground would be before the match or half time?

I'm too busy chatting to friends or taking a piss etc to even notice the tv's to be honest.

I wish they'd throw the feckers away then it's one less thing for you to moan about!

Most people look at the TVs to see half time scores etc

Many people struggle for signal to use mobiles

I think your missing the point though the TVs are never turned on in the ESL and that should be such an easy fix , but BFC seem to struggle with the simple stuff

And then we wonder why we get the big stuff ( john Stones ) so wrong

You'd complain if the bogs were shut though, but I never use them so don't see the point in having them you'd complain if the food places were shut, I wouldn't asi never use them some people like to watch tvs at half time so don't have a go at them for it ...

Bloody hell. I would have thought we would aspire to have the very best footballing and entertainment experience available in a modern era. Yet we have minimal features and those we do have we don't see the point of or harp back to the 70s as a comparison. No wonder we don't have a progressive club, seems some people don't want one.

Whilst they aren`t everyones cup a tea, if we have them in place then it seems daft not to utilise them all. The one I pass in the Ponty was on by the way.

Speaking as one of life's dinosaurs, I'm somewhat perplexed as to why when we have all the tellys in the ground, they can't even be bothered to ensure they're switched on. The same goes for the food & drink available. If you want to make certain fans are keen to spend their money on them, ensure there's a decent choice available and all at a reasonable & fair price. If they're not, the fans who like to have a drink and a bite to eat will simply do it elsewhere and the club misses out on additional income.
Whilst I'm on another ramble, spruce the ground up with a lick of paint, large posters of current and previous heroes and make the stadium a welcoming place for the fans to congregate and want to spend their time & money. None of it need be at the expense of player recruitment, the club ought to be striving to ensure that all it's fans are valued, respected and looked after properly as a matter of course.
Having said all that, I don't drink or eat inside the ground. But I don't see why those who do like to partake can't do so and it be both an enjoyable & reasonably priced experience.

They do not have to spend £100k though, that is a total load of ballax !
Man City didnt spend a £100k on one single screen, so why should it cost a third division club that much ?

It is an entertainment industry full stop. Otherwise why would the TV deals be so lucrative. Why do people go and watch instead of sitting and awaiting the results. All to be entertained. I like to be entertained and I'm more entertained with a win than a loss. I'm sure a lot of people didn't question the entertainment in a draw away at Huddersfield when Luke Steel played keepyuppies for 5 minutes. I can tolerate the level of entertainment varying as this is a sport and even except lower levels in return for 3 points in certain situations.
