I saw The Vaccines, Tribes and Mystery Jets live inside Castleton Caves a couple of years ago for a Jack Daniels Birthday Party. Absolutely amazing.

Appreciate this doesn't help you in the slightest .......

Who asked for your opinion? I know some of the sh*te you've watched over the years ;) Agree on Vaccines though, but not Mystery Jets. Went to their album launch in Stoke Newington Cemetary - class!

You'll do well to see Tribes ..... they split up 18 months ago!

How old are kids? Free water park at Rivelin but only really of interest to u11s. Walk thru water fountains etc.
Clifton Park good. Water fountains, park, cafe and fairground.
    Cannon Hall Farm
If u go to Castleton you can drive up thru the pass and park near the top. Then get the kids to walk the last half a mile to top of Mam Tor.

Drive up through Winnetts pass. At the top, take a right, then left. There is a car park on the right hand side. It's a ten minute walk to the top. Should be nice on a day like tomorrow.

We've been there the last two years on Christmas Eve. My other half thinks it's a good way to get the kids some fresh air before Christmas Day. It nearly bloody killed me! We climbed up, it was cold and a bit windy, and I was struggling with a cold. We got to the top, and were instantly hit with a gale, smack in the face. Wind, rain, hail, the works. It was very frightening. I could barely breathe when I got down. Terrifying. I'll NEVER go there again in the winter.

But tomorrow you'll be fine. :) Lol. No, really, you will.

Richard Hawley ... my other half, in his wisdom has bought tickets for Sheffield, Scarborough and Manchester.

I'll go once. I've seen him tons of times, and he's great, but I really don't want to see him 3 times in a month or two.

    Bonkers.

A band called 18 wheeler were officially the biggest pile of rubbish ever. Supported the boo radleys and Bis who were brilliant, my mate reckoned Bis were rubbish, was watching them in pompey when I heard the best heckle ever.... "If you were ice cream you'd be dogshit flavour" still makes me chuckle!

I'm off to Scarborough and Sheffield mainly because I'm not keen on the venue in Sheffield.

I don't think anyone is really, but my answer to that is, go to Scarborough, or Manchester, not all 3. As it happens I'm going to Sheffield, and he can go to the others on his own/ with his mate.

Seen him at The City Hall, Buxton, and at Ramsbottom Festival now. I'm virtually a groupie.
