....and I hope he doesn't. But if it were to happen, I just wonder if it would lead to Josh Scowen being used in a more attacking role, which may not be such a bad thing.

If you think for a minute that anyone considers CH is an adequate, similar or even understandable replacement for JB, then you are mistaken.

CH is a vastly inferior footballer.

    IMO.

I personally don't think that he's remotely ready for the step up yet, but I'm reliably informed that the powers that be at HTFC may well do, which is what counts really.

My favourite current player going to my least liked club? I think I ought to have another glass of red wine (any excuse!).

He's definitely on their radar, but they'll have to break their transfer record to get him.

    Do for me.

    What's their transfer record? Don't say 300k.

I think they'll have to offer ridiculous money for PC to sell.

So they bought Dempsey earlier in the season not sure if they replaced Conor Cody, but does this mean Butterfield is off to Derby.

We don't 'need' to sell. Aces held.

I couldnt care less about the likes of Huddersfield as they have bought their current lofty position (as constant championship strugglers), and even jacob butterfield seems to have found his true niche there. didnt he leave us and think the grass was greener etc.

if they do want to sign Hourihanne for a huge fee though, then yes id be happy with that.

Dean Hoyle when it comes to transfer fees has short arms and long pockets, so it's a complete non starter even contemplating the idea of him paying say two million with a decent future sell on clause in there.

He's not my step-lad. And as I've said recently, I'd appreciate it if folk don't ask me about him on here. I can't stop folk talking about him, he used to laik for us, no problem with that.

Just keep me out of it. Cheers.

No problem sorry pal. Didn't realise you you'd distanced yourself from discussions about him.

for me Dreamboy i wasnt even thinking of anything near £2 mill when i said a huge fee. we have an awful sell on policy these days where we sell everybody off far too cheaply. to be honest though, we have done this going back to the 1982 trevor aylott days.

No need to apologise, you've been off the forum. I just feel it's for the best. Sure folk can understand that.
