When a player gets injured and requires treatment I hate it when other players from both teams have to walk over to the touchline for a drink and a natter to the manager. It never seams to make a difference to the game except more time added on at the end. Sorry, just my gripe.
What i hate is if the trainer has to come on to treat a player, that player has to go off, however if it's the keeper he doesn't. Either bin the rule or enforce it.
Rugby League (a much poorer game) has timekeepers, who stop the clock when there's a stoppage - so everyone can (transparently) see what time is left. Why hasn't football cottoned on?
Not sure about time added on. If the ref had blown 10 minutes early yesterday I wouldn't have complained
Rugby League is a far superior game, and a game where you are either constantly attacking or defending. Footballers get the chance to have a breather when it's one or the other.
