Deserves to ply his trade at the highest level Everton won't be anywhere near the Top 4 in the Premier League. No Brainer. Mourinio will improve his game even further.
The irony of the Everton Forum complaining that they nurtured this talent and are now being ripped off by the money men of Chelsea. What goes around comes around lads. Already posters referring to him as the Tyke Judas, I love John Stones!!!
I'm sure Stonsey only has Everton's interest at heart...just as he did ours....nowt to do with cash...
Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't kick another ball for em now. Doesn't this mean he forfeits his cut of the transfer? Mebbi that's what Everton were waiting for, to maximize on the transfer fee? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Before we all get giddy as **** about the money from any Stones move, we should think for a minute what we possibly spend it on. Don't get me wrong, it's great news for the club, but doesn't mean that really good laikers will be queuing with their boots down Grove St. Clubs might agree a big fee for someone to come, but the player has got to want to be here. And why would they? Big wages?? Can't do it, not without giving the squad a decent pay rise too. Big earning new arrival = unhappy dressing room. Tricky one... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm not sure how this works, is he still a child of Preedy? Good luck John, wherever you go. And good luck Mason, if John does leave, you may find yourself closer to the first team.
The money will be paid over a number of years...no massive one-off payday...this will be ignored by the BBS Braintrust who will howl for signings galore and moan like fook when they don't arrive. If I was PC OR BM, I'd resign now.
I'd like to see us pay off Mr Cryne, allowing him, should he wish, to walk away without the club being beholden to him. Any money left should be put in the bank so when the next John Stones is produced we don't have to sell until the next Everton give us what he's worth.
Only 25 appearances to his name for us and went for £2.2M. Only 47 appearances for Everton and going for around £35M. That's some going and a quick rise.
