    If this is correct, I imagine this is the bit that Everton are currently trying to 'buy out'. It won't be the initial 15% from the next sale, it will be any follow on. We're quite right to **** them off as well. If he goes to chelski and rips up, his next move will be 50m+ to barca or madrid

    Great news, if true. I wonder why he doesnt expect him to be sold in this window. Everything suggests a transfer is imminent.

    Hes not saying ours is 25%. You can get 7/2 for him to stay at Everton.

    You do know that the percentages are calculated on the difference between the fee already received and the fee received subsequently by the buying club, don't you.

    Example

    Barnsley Receive £2.2m plus a sell on clause of 15%
    Everton Receive £32.2m plus a sell on clause of 15%
    @ 15% Barnsley receive 15% of £32.2m - £2.2m = £30m or £4.5m
    Stones' next club receive £42.2 m
    Everton Receive 15% of £42.2m - £32.2m =£10m or £1.5m
    Barnsley Receive 15% of £1.5m or £225k

    Although such a sum is not to be sniffed at, it is hardly exciting.

    Ours is 15% and would be 15% of evertons hypothetical 25% sell on, it they sell, and if they get a clause etc etc

    It's not that much in the grand scheme of things but a nice back pocket earner possibly
