Did anyone notice that the away end seemed to fill up at half time? Had there been a delay on the motorway, or were they just late from the pub?
big delays on the M62. guy at work said he chalked it off and went to watch it a pub instead cos there was no way he'd have got there before second half
Took me 1 hr 30 mins to get there from Leeds. Motorway was heaving as was the route into Barnsley. Ended up parking a fair way away from the ground and walking in.
Smart Motorways - I think not. The M67 should have been extended to Sheffield/ Barnsley 30 years ago.
Big problems on M60 clockwise Jn 15-17 causing delays back to M62 (if you were coming from Liverpool) and also backed up on M61 southbound.. Fortunately got wind of it earlier & came via Blackburn & M66.
Reminds me of the League Cup Tie at Anfield We were stuck in the fog on the M62 and arrived 10 minutes after the 2nd half kicked off - and they delayed the kick-off by 15 minutes. I remember sitting there in the car listening to Radio Scouse...
Re: Reminds me of the League Cup Tie at Anfield I was driving a hired van with 10 mates in it. I remember rolling backwards at one point into the front of a car behind. My mates were pix xiong themselves laughing..The bloke jumped out and I thought here we go. He rushed up and said in a thick Scouse' accent 'I'm really sorry mate, I've run into the back of you, I'll for any damage'! We arrived 5 mins into the second half and I remember this bloke coming in about 15 mins after us, seeing the score and screaming at the ref to blow for full time, although it had taken him 6 hours to get there!

Took me well over an hour to get there from Leeds. Massive traffic where the M62 and M1 meet. Took me best part of an hour to get as far as Wakefield. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
