Enjoyed last night not just the performance the atmosphere was good for a game on TV. It was probley the strongest away side fielded at oakwell for sometime they had a striker they paid 2 million for a defender who they have just rejected a 30million pound offer for. Maybe a stronger side that avram grant put out in 2008 when we beat Chelsea. I belive that is the first time we have played Everton scince the premiership correct me if I'm wrong. If we could have a big f.a cup tie this season who would you like to see us play. For me I'd love to see us play arsenal at the emirates a stadium I've never been and we haven't played them scince the premiership days either.
A striker they paid £2m for? Who's that? Lukaku was £29m wasn't he (or did you miss the 9 off)? To put that into context I'd say that's probably more than bfc have spent in our entire existence. We need to get through first 2 rounds of fa cup before we even think about a big draw.
Think Arsenal are the only one of the usual top ten Premier League clubs that we haven't played since we played them in the league, so I'd like us to play them, at home though.
I can remember us playing them in premier at oakwell they beat us 2-0 n Dennis Bergkamp scored a quality goal. Was on holiday when we went Highbury though
Like us to play Tottenham or Villa. We never play those 2 and I reckon we'd have a real chance if we played like we did last night.
Villa, Sunderland or Swansea away, cos I haven't been to those three. Or Liverpool, Man United or Arsenal home or away, just because my little girl has only been watching us since last season and she'd be thrilled to see us play those. Or Spurs home or away, cos a good mate of mine is a Spurs fan. Or Wycombe, to see if they have any more players like Scowen or Mawson. Or Penistone Church. Or Barcelona.
