Feckin deluded and twisted they are.
Who the **** are they and where have they ever been.?

 

Erm Wabara DID turn Donny down because he wanted a bigger club.

I've read their forum but I'm lost as to what is deluded and twisted on there.

Read the thread what says tarn calls us tinpot for selling nearly twice as many season tickets as them. They had just over 4 thousand home ticket sold for there massive game against Leeds in the capital one cup and no doubt some of them were Leeds as they sold there allocation. Now that's embarrassing. And I bet tickets weren't 20 quid. Look forward to them bringing 1 thousand caravans to oakwell.

 

So you don't think they were implicating Us being a step down from them then. This subject has arisen on their board before. They also don 't seem to grasp that we have a grade 2 Academy that takes significant investment to just to keep it at that level. They have a School of Excellence that produces very little. Not all of our Academy lads make the first team , let alone the big time, but we have plenty playing in the football league Who may or may not progress. Yet they seem to think that blooding our youngsters is a relatively new thing to us.
I used to work in Donny, they can't abide the fact that compared to them, we are streets ahead, even if we are in the same league.

 

Have you linked to a different thread to the one you're talking about? That one is about who they want as next manager, no mention of Wabara or Ben or season ticket sales or academy.

I didn't take it as them implying we were a step down. Rather that he turned them down because he wanted a championship club and instead ended up at another league 1 club. I also thought that quite a few of their posts were praising our academy. Can't say I read every post on their forum though

 

Believe me, they dont only see themselves our equals but actually ahead of us. Theres a jeremy clarkson doncaster rovers documentary thing on youtube which is ****ing hilarious. Shows them for what they will always be, a tinpot no hoper of a club.
