What is the best way do people think to deal with internet trolls, keyboard warriors or persistant negative, destructice posters? Ignor them in the hope they go away? Challenge then in a constructive wayand is it safe to do so, or ban them altogether? While I am against censorship, there have to be limits, for example, to protect children. Where do you draw te line and who draws it? I also struggle with the same sort of problems with addressing racism. All sensible comments will be listened to. Less sensible comments may illicit a giggle.
You could invite them to a BBS meet up and then have a sensible pint and a discussion with them. Then comes a problem. Will they turn up. Regarding racism that's a different and more serious issue.
