But since LVG came in their policy on youth has seemingly evaporated and they released most of their out of contract youngsters. Perhaps another reason why we haven't signed a left back? I remember him signings, as he signed with a couple of other "development" players. But he was the stand out one as he was supposedly very highly thought of at United as one for the future, along with Tom Thorpe who they released at the same time. Because he was injured completely forgot about him. If he is as good as other United U21 players we've had like Pearson and Drinkwater then that will be an incredibly boost to us. The more I read up on him the more I feel like we do have a great prospect at left back once fit alongside Smith, Nyatanga and Templeton. Suppose the big question - anyone know when he's due back?!
