"part genius - part useless" - top quote
"i'd kick him myself - and he's on my team" - love this one, he refers to the players as being on his his team!!

certainly beats listening to some managers
I do like his honesty and frankness.

He is just a little cheeky chappy really.

    thats all….

I do wonder if people would find his interviews as refreshing if we were struggling in the league. Keith Hill was a master wordsman at one stage, but became downright arrogant when we were losing, and I'm not sure that his interviews changed that much.

i found Keith quite irritating from the very start, he was refreshing to listen to but irritating too (i think the lancashire twang didn't help though)
But i do get your point, I am sure he grates on as many people as like him.

I loved listening to Keith's interview purely cos they were so "left field". His problem with us as fans was that he took away our right to dream. Supporting any club is about dreaming about what you can achieve. For manure it's about winning the champions league. For us it's about doing well this season in the third division. Keith just wanted to plant us as a club that needed to realise where it belonged.
Wrong strategy to get the fans on board.
And that's where LJ is so different. He's optimistic about the future. He has a plan and he thinks and talks positively about where he wants to take us. It might not work but he's giving us the chance to dream again. I also like his wit and piss taking. Top lad.

He comes across as a great guy. Hope he's successful because he's the sort of bloke I think deserves to be

archey nails it. these interviews sound good when you're doing ok, and $hit when you're not. hill and flicker both perfect examples. actually, hill isn't. i thought he was a kn0bhead from day 1

I'm sure we'll go through a bad patch at some point this season - every team does. So we're sure to find out.
