If he gets injured next summer they might as well stay at home.

Fantastic player who clearly loves representing his country.

I wish our top international players would play at least half as well as he does for his country.

Watched the game tonight and he was hopeless - had a really poor game, but he's a gamechanger.

Ashley Williams at centre back on the other hand was an absolute colossus.

This comment is fair, but your opening post isn't.

The Wales defence (and Williams in particular) have being ridiculously good so far. Yes, Bale has got the important goals, but those goals wouldn't mean anything without the clean sheet at the back.

Ramsey, Allen and Ledley (the latter two didn't play last night) also deserve a mention. The Wales first XI is not a bad team at all.

    They'd beat England.

Wales would be utter guff wiart Bale..... bunch of journeymen footballers (Ramsey apart) would win sod all.

folly to believe otherwise..... in fact see what happens when Bale does not play!

Williams was immense against Man Utd. England's best striker was in his back pocket all game. Such an underrated CB.

Sorry but Joe Allen sums up everything wrong with the modern central midfielder. Makes Jordan Henderson look like Bryan Robson in his prime.
