I'm not sure if that means Cryne will be off after Xmas or we're left with this sub-Glyn Hodges idiot for the next three years.

When I heard that comment I couldn't believe it.

I respect Patrick Cryne but he constantly backs the wrong managers. Throws money at Davey, Flitcroft & wants to do the same with Johnson but didn't really back any of Robins, Hill & Wilson

Such comments always come back to bite. We do have to stick with a manager long-term sooner or later, that i agree with. If Patrick Cryne has full confidence in LJ, then fair enough. Personally, I'd have had Danny Wilson as the continuity choice, as I believe he'd have kept the fans onside longer and got it right. But Johnson is the man at the helm and will in my opinion be supported greatly for the forseeable.

That was a team dying on it arse though, well before he came in. It had relegation ingrained in it like a stick of rock.

Treacy, Lita & Turnbull were all free agents so no great loss.

Hourihane & Winnall were outstanding signings.

I'm not going to try & make out the 2nd Wilson era was great, it was poor but he took over the most gutless group of players I've ever seen & had to gamble with the loanees which failed.

Last season he had to blood a lot of academy players whilst we still had to deal with the fall out of relegation.

This season was a fantastic opportunity for a manager because all the championship wages had gone & a lot of the academy lads had built up plenty of game time

They may not have paid fees for them players but they were on big wages Wilson was backed. End of agree hill and robins wasn't backed agree with that but Wilson was.

Treacy was in all likelihood on decent wages but I find it hard to believe Lita was.

Still don't believe he was properly backed.

I didn't do many aways last year but from an entertainment point of view we were great pre-Christmas.

Exciting team with Hourihane, Cole, Winnall & Williams in it
