    I think the issue some have is that these young lads are learning their trade and making mistakes whilst on loan at our club. Probably for some other clubs benefit.

    I agree abut Pearson though - good player in the making.

    Assuming the loans aren't going to be made permanent like Townsend's, then you & they are spot on.

    My opinion is that he's a steady L1 player right now. He's got potential though given his age and is technically proficient.

    I'm not convinced by Pearson but rarely mention it because there's more obvious problems like players out of position, wingers & forwards

    I think Pearson makes us look a stronger unit defensively but he really isnt one of our better footballers. Personally, I'd have kept Bailey over him, no question. There's too much hype surrounding the kid and his thoughts on becoming a regular Man Utd player are delusional.
