A story I was told many years ago regarding M.Graham.Whilst playing for QPR a situation arose that had he scored in a particular match (not against us) Barnsley would have been relegated. So like a true Tyke he chose to miss an open goal .Barnsley survived relegation that very same day.RIP Malcolm.

A racing man was Malcolm - saw him many a time on course/in the bookies.

My favourite Tykes player. He had the hardest shot I have ever seen on a football field with his lethal left foot. He scored some spectacular goals and his goal scoring record bears comparison with most. A true gentleman and a great servant of the club in the 1950's and 1960's. R I P Malcolm. Happy memories.

A harder shot then Neil Thompson?

He had a harder shot than even Neil Thompson! I remember Malcolm hitting a 30 yard free kick at Oakwell against Doncaster Rovers. Their goalkeeper was Harry Gregg (later Man Utd). He never moved as the ball hit the back of the net!
