Yeah, let's just get rid of all reward, and give people nothing to work towards, then we can all be content in $hit jobs, and never try and accomplish anything!
Wrong where's the incentive in life. In a ideal world everything would be free but I know plenty of people who have come from poor family's and now are well off from their own hard work.
There's reward and down right greed.no one should be allowed to hold that much wealth when people are living in abject poverty. Some of these bstds have done nothing more than inherit or embezzle.
Labour brought in tax credits to increase the number of people dependent on the state and thus increase the number of Labour voters.
What's the threshold for tax credits and how much is it worth? I got 3 kids, work full time. Missus works part time, but we get no credits. We struggle month to month, but don't expect hand outs. I'm sure some folk have it worse. But when you drive past new lodge club or on Wellington street and see the folk sat getting pissed during working hours, you got to think something ain't right. Or maybe they're all on day off or work night shift.
Same ones kicking the poorest are licking the richest arse Aspiration is a fine and noble thing and should be well rewarded but not an excuse to overfeed their fat fekin faces until they fekin bust while others are struggling.
Other than being companies - or lorries - or factories - or supermarkets - or farms - or less tangible things like patents or brands Difficult to say you can have as much wealth as you like as long as it's not in cash.....or you're only allowe to own 20 supermarkets before you're too big.... Private companies are then not able to compete and it all gets messy. I'm opposed to anyone inheriting more than the family home they grew up in. But I can't see how you stop people accumulating their own wealth.
"I'm opposed to anyone inheriting more than the family home they grew up in." Monarchist. When you say "family home" do you mean its value? Or do we all have to keep hold of the house we were born in and never move? How quaint.
No - I am a sentamentalist though. Not the value - the actual home. Big or small I think you shouldn't be forced to part with your memories. But of course you have the choice to sell - and to pay tax on the inheritance. Shame other people are so harsh and material.
By not overcharging By paying fair wages By not raping the areas their based or exploiting By reinvesting and properly restoring communities Plenty of things for these people to do with their stashed millions and still have more than enough to lead a fantastic life for themselves and their families etc.
Your defense of these Billionaires is almost as fierce as your condemnation of a struggling low income person. Why you want to know what I do for a living so you can give the Tory Boy war cry of your only jealous it's the politics of envy.yawn. I'm not well of by any means but Im not in the position to have to rely on a govt dept to top up what a greedy fat billionaire or company should be doing.
Scrap tax credits immediately and pay the real living wage immediately and no one would have a problem. After all why should the state prop up big business. At the same time what happens to smaller employers does the state still subsidise them in some way or do they just go bust?
Be careful pal cos if said carer knows what you think about them some abuse could be coming your way.
