Gally could you please explain why I was banned for 2 weeks

Chuff me if we all had our unliked posts placed in a personal folder along with our abusive posts on how the club is run and certain members of staff be that on and off the field ......some folders would be very thin.....some medium size......some even large......

and some....... myself included ............would have our own locker full.


to be fair to ben , i think when he first came to oakwell in his eagerness to win the folk of Barnsley over the title ******** ben was fully deserved because he did spout some waffle.......however since those early days hes settled into the job, become more aware that the folk in Barnsley can spot ******** faster than usain bolt on speed, and to some degree doesnt spout as much.

Hes becoming more Barnsley orientated failing that hes learnt to keep his trap shut ......haha.....

Poor bloke gets it in the neck either way....dammed if he publishes and hung drawn and quarted if he doesnt.....

 

IMO if that was the post you were banned for then it was totally wrong, and whoever this Gally is was quite strange for doing it. I really hope it was a mistake and he/she is man/woman enough to apologise. Otherwise Gally should not be in a position to ban people in the first place. Very strange.

 

Oh dear! I know you have a knack of posting foolish stuff but you could do with reading stuff before you post. Unless this is highly ironic.
By the way, for those that don't know, it's Gally's site. He can do what he wants.

 

He owns this forum, pays for it, runs it and we're all guests here. As I've said above, I don't agree with him on this, but really, he can do what the hell he likes. We're all here under his mandate, not the other way around. He could shut the place down tomorrow if he so wished. Worth considering when you're questioning his position. That's not to say you shouldn't question his decisions, but not if has a right to make them because he has, it's his house.

 

I can't see anything wrong with Stairfoot Reds post at all. It's just his opinion and not abusive. Seen much worse things written on here.

 

Yeah but we all know that Gally is a complete **** who has his favourites and treats everyone else like **** don't we.

Only joking. I've never met Gally so can't say what he's like in person or anything and to be honest he doesn't post on here anywhere near enough since he got married for there to be much interaction with him these days but in all the time I've posted on here I've found Gally to be one of the most polite and friendly people around who despite owning the forum has for the vast majority of times been the most reasonable and lenient of site owners as in the few instances where I've disagreed with bans In sure most were actually not Gallys doing.

In short like Jay said I don't agree with this banning but Gally owns the place and can do what he wants BUT as a general rule he doesn't do what he wants because he's a thoroughly decent bloke who gives time and money because he wants to make things better for everyone else. And that doesn't just go for this site really, its the same with the trust. Gally = top man

 

If people get banned for using 'names' then there will be nobody left on here to post.
