Thanks for your feedback so far.
This is a chance for BBS members to make their point over one off offers and whether they will work or are a waste of time.
Non ST holders would you come to a game and how much are you willing to pay
You know the board read the BBS so don't waste the opportunity

The board might read it but they are VERY selective over what they address. They must Have read calls for an explanation about the england under 21s but no explanation came. They must have read the barnsley player criticism but I hear no apology or explanation. They surely saw my weekly tv complaints for YEARS but in a meeting they were apparently shocked when they were told they weent on (aye alright). From the outside it appears they only see criticism and feel they are being bullied, they fail to read the cause of the criticism or the suggestions and only acknowledge the percieved personal abuse

We already have a decent squad for this division it's not exactly "La Liga".

Have any offers against teams that are going to normally attract the lowest crowds.
Non St holders will pay the going rate if the teams doing well we can't afford to go too low were we make a loss.

Should add that my dad is a bit of a floating supporter and will go to cup games because they are cheaper, and also went to the Derby game the other year when it was £15. But he (rightly) sees £23 as too much. Just another perspective to throw into the mix.

Would your dad pay £23 if we were top of the league or 2nd and playing well though.

Probably would tbh. Not every game, but like many others he'd be more inclined to come if we were having a good season. Which we haven't done in my entire time of having a season ticket.

I wouldn't pay £5 to watch what we are serving up at the moment.

I'd say something like 3 tickets for £30 would work pretty well, make it a Christmas deal and give it some proper marketing for a few weeks. I can't get a season ticket as I live down south so rarely go to Oakwell these days as it's easier/cheaper for me to just do aways and that will continue if they don't stop charging ridiculous prices full stop.

You're bang on there mate. They're punishing folk like me for trying to get myself a decent job and moving to do so. My money just goes to other clubs down to our boards insistence on punishing non-ST holders.

I don't think they're doing that to be fair.

If they are doing an offer they need to properly reduce prices down to a fiver or a tenner. If they reduce them to £20 (which is where they should be anyway) then it will make bugger all difference.
