Old Trafford in the cup would have beaten the Liverpool game in the 80's hands down if we'd been given more tickets and it was 10 bob to get in.

    Re: Boro and Hudds

My other half reckons Wednesday took 20k to the FA Cup replays with Arsenal which were held at Filbert St in 1979. Neutral ground though.

Re: What about Middlesboro away, same cup run as Enfield?

Remember that well, used to have a picture of that from the Chronicle was gutted when I lost it because you could pick out me and some mates that I've now lost touch with it brought back some great memories.

Not sure which is most fun, biggest following or most in small space, remember a brilliant atmosphere at Millmoor but elf n safety wouldn't let you get anywhere near that number now :D

If you go to the local studies section on the ground floor of the town hall they have all the Chronicles on microfiche. One machine has a digital search engine. You can ask them to help you find the picture and they'll print it off for you.

    Was at both those games.

Me and my dad were in with the Boro fans who were very complementary about our performance, best they'd seen at Ayersome park all season apparently. Probably would have been different if we'd won as we should have done. Great goal by Mike Lester.

For the Anfield game we were among the ones who missed the whole of the first half.

Make sure you ask for the machine with the digital search engine. Otherwise the words needle and haystack spring to mind.
