Ran the show. That's what experience gets you, and that's why we won't kick on this season. **** **** ****! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They went out and bought a whole host of experienced players pre-season. They're 4th bottom and manager less after 11 games. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Didnt sound it to me ! They also said Pearson was fantastic, just 10 mins after saying he was missing ! I never believe a word they say !
Not having a dig here, but unless you're in the home end it's hard to know how good the crosses were, to me at least a couple looked to have them in trouble...but they got the right nick.
I only noticed Chaplow twice in the whole game, one was his goal and the other was when he decided to take half an hour to take a corner when it was 0-0. I seriously did not understand that.
Fair point. Don't agree though. Are you suggesting that the Ponty end can't ever tell how good or poor a cross is?
Echo what others have said. Their player deflected in his effort for Donny's first and other than that did nothing except the goal right at the end.
Only 3 points behind our fast exciting team that's going places, so maybe there experienced manegerless players just need time to gel ?
Maybe our younger players need time to gel and gain some experience? I'd much rather have younger players improving than old timers coming to the end of their careers. What was the total age of their 3 centre midfielders today? I'd guess at not far from 100 if not over #ancient
You should've applied for the managers position when it was posted online and then they might've seen that you could fill in for the midfield.
Chaplow was their best player, IMO. He retained possession, got stuck in, was always talking and scored their winner. The sort of experienced, older head we've needed in midfield since relegation. IMO.
