To get to the championship looking at the premiership villa,Sunderland and Newcastle all in bottom 3 all would fill the away end and more the away support in this league is terrible. People would call me a optimist but if we can stay up near top 6 and sneak promotion the finincial incentives must be better than ever.

Unless we sort our inconsistencies out and move away from safety first football we won't be in the top six.

No chance of a top half finish this season.

The away form needs sorting mate 4 points from 15 isn't good enough.

    You make an interesting point.

Problem is we will not be promoted.

With the state of League One we should be looking for play offs at least but with Lee Jays tactics, assuming he sticks to his current policy, we aren't up to the job.

From what I've seen there is no excuse for us to not finish top half. It's a distinctly average division. Trouble is we are distinctly average in that one good performance is followed by one or two ***** ones.

We may finish top six but just as likely to be bottom eight.

Keep winning at home and pick up what we can away might do the job on this evidence though. Nobody looks particularly good.

First part is correct, second isn't necessarily.

If we were more consistent we'd win more games. I only go to home matches, but I think the brand of football we've played at home this year would see us in the play-offs if we cut out the numerous individual errors that cost us goals. That's probably a big ask for a league 1 team.

To be clear I'm not saying that if we started to be an all guns blazing team we couldn't or wouldn't be in the top 6. I just don't think it's a prerequisite.

It's only early days. Newcastle will be nowhere near the drop, Villa will probably escape it but agree on Sunderland. I feel they're doomed. A recruitment strategy of signing players who've failed at big clubs hasn't really worked

It's not like we've even had a tough run away from home. Two games Blackpool and Donny we were playing teams in the relegation zone.

The thing that concerns me the most is that one of the biggest factors in our inconsistency is tactics. I feel this team are more than good enough to finish in the top six but our approach to games will see this as another wasted season.

Ye. Brought in some good players who'll adjust soon enough. Mitrovic, Wijnaldium & Mbemba are all good players for me.

Also had a very difficult start to the season fixture wise & the only result that was a shock was the Watford one.
