Its a poor league.

For a side wishing to achieve promotion 1 point out of 6 against poor Blackpool and Doncaster sides is disappointing to say the least!

 

Half full for me.
Bitterly disappointing results against Blackpool & Donny balanced against impressive, comfortable victories over Swindon & Gillingham. Consistently inconsistent displays from the team so far.

 

And 3pts against table topping Burton.

 

Its good to have a light at the end of the tunnel !

Trouble is when its the Channel Tunnel you can't see any lights cause of all them folk trying to get to our country!!!!

I look for genuine signs of any real progress and fail to see any. Doesn't mean it won't come but at the minute I can't see it either in terms of performances or results both of which are mediocre. We were equidistant from relegation and play offs when we sacked the last manager so I guess that doesn't illustrate much change either way.

I don't think there has been any progress. We were a midtable team when we sacked Wilson and we still are. Had we kept Wilson I believe there would have been progress. However, I don't blame Johnson for that. We more or less started again (again), and if you keep doing that the best you can hope for is midtable. If by Christmas next season there has still been no progress then things need looking at, but for the moment we've got reap what we have sown and allow the man in charge to get it right. He won't necessarily do that, but if we sack him it'll be yet another year wasted.
