Don't care much about the game tomorrow as long as we don't get hammered, but, with due respect to Crewe, this is an ideal opportunity for LJ and his players to get a great win and even 'showboat' a little. Whatever happens let's keep things in perspective girls and boys.
If we fail to beat crewe I won't be even looking on this board. Can be bother shifting through all the carp from the usual suspects. But I'm expecting three points not bothered about tomorrow.
Have any team hammered us? Probably only Rochdale and there was a reason for that. I don't see this team getting a good tonking. We are happier against the teams that play better football. So I expect mediocrity against Crewe. Pity we aren't playing Swindon or someone half-decent.
well I for one AM bothered about tomorrow I seriously would like us to go all out to win this trophy.... I went to see the final years ago when it was at the Millenium stadium in Cardiff... Blackpool vs Cambridge... a good day out Blackpool won and a certain Martin Bullock played for them. He had a fabulous game... The Trophy is a very good looking bit of 'Silverware' and also there is a good bit of cash connected with it too. Yes I would definitely welcome success in this trophy. Now as for the league..... we are seriously a work in progress, we will pull off some great wins as we recently have done and we will get beaten by what seems inferior teams. This is because of the inexperience, naivety of the regime now at Oakwell... that's the board, management and players alike. Long term planning, patience and understanding is required right now. We have been a hire and fire the manager club for too long and its gotten us nowhere.... give this current set-up a chance... and by that I do not mean 10 -20 games . I mean 2 mebbe 3 seasons.
They have always been labelled a footballing side who are not afraid to give youth a chance, but from what I can gather they are really struggling so far this season. Instead of us kick-starting another struggling team,s season, perhaps we could use this as platform to show that we really are a force to be reckoned with this season. As always, results wise, I expect nothing but hope for lots.
I will not explode if we lose Saturday.... beginning not to care....win lose or draw it will be boring.
No excuse for not winning on Saturday Fail to beat Crewe and they will deserve every bit of criticism that comes their way. Our home form is not too bad so fully expect the 3 points.
I agree , if we don't beat Crewe at home then I will definitely be happy clapped out Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
I'd expect us to win because they will try and play football against us and.we should be able to match that
I'd like to think more midweek game time, against better opposition, and one less day's recovery time than Rochdale for a bunch of 20 year olds coming down from the hype of appearing on Sky, made just enough of a difference. Like every player was 10% down on what they normally are. Rochdale were better than us though.
If we play as we did on Saturday, as dull as I might have found it (Harris aside), we stand a good chance of winning the game. Tomorrow will be helpful though, as a gauge. Which is why I hope we win. Well, that and the potential trip to Wembley like.
