    I rate him. Thought he did well at Huddersfield and I believe was third before getting sacked mid February, which was unfair.

    He had two ***** jobs at Birmingham and Blackpool where nobody would have been able to turn it around at that time. In all fairness, a lot of managers would have taken Birmingham down with what was happening at board level and Carson Yeung not being allowed to leave Hong Kong.

    Showed a lot of dignity at Blackpool and deserves another chance. I think he's more than capable of getting Donny a top six place.

    Didnt he go about 49 games unbeaten at this level with Huddersfield, taken them to the play off final and then getting sacked while 2nd or 3rd? Id take him over LJ anyday of any week.

    Don't really care either way about LC but the Birmingham job doesn't exactly look like a poisoned chalice now they have someone capable doing it.
