HIs wing play was excellent but the final ball or cross was woeful. Improve that part of his game and he will be a very good player.
Don't know if he's any good yet, as his final ball, be it shot or cross, hasn't been up to scratch thus far. It might come, it might not. But I've seen him beat a man dozens of times. Worth a place in the side at the moment because of that and because he keeps having a go.
Reminds me very much of dale jennings in terms of running at defenders..... there was however an end product from jennings as he could hit the target!
Yep, a right-footed player on the left wing cutting in and shooting... Though to be fair Harris does actually mix it up and go to the by-line and crosses it with his left peg. Usually there's no-one on the end of it but that might be just as much to do with our midfielders not racing in to attack crosses. I like Watkins but I don't see him as a natural wide man and would like to see someone willing to go past a player on the right hand side as well.
He beats players fairly regularly but his final pass/shot is usually very poor. Lots of potential. If we are lining him up to sign in January then worth developing that potential if not I'm not sure.
I thought he was excellent on Saturday and Barnsleys best player by a long way skinned ther fullback on numerous occasions but when there's nobody in the middle to give it to the play does not look as good.
just listened to him being interviewed, seems like a great lad, good luck to you Kadeem and hope you can stay at Barnsley as you wish ,said "its frustrating I cant stay here ,as I think we will be a promotion team ", said he wants to come back in January
Like most of our midfield I can't fault his commitment as you can see he's a tryer. But he's not chipping in with goals and assists so if he doesn't come back once his loan is over, at the moment i'd not be too bothered.
I thought he was a winger after seeing him for the first time on Saturday and he's welcome back anytime for me.
