Time to look in the mirror Johnson and start showing some b*llox, stop the crap with Winnall on his todd and go for the throat, 2 up front with aggressive attacking football

Blackpool, Donny and Crewe were all teams that Athersley Rec would have had a good chance of beating and yet what does negative Johnson do, he carries on playing Winnall on his todd up front and this stupid tippy tappy garbage going nowhere negative boring tactics.

Johnson and Mansford remind me of politicians drooling out the same interviews, close your eyes and the bull sh*t they spout to the fans can be copy pasted for most games. According to Johnson they have diets, heart monitors, player plans, state of the art this state of the art that. Him and Mansford talk a good game but it's wearing very thin for me now, just like the film Groundhog Day the same tripe gets spouted after every similar boring negative performance, just like watching the reds for nearly every game this season, its bloody boring.

Davies was dropped yet he plays a keeper who seems to give a goal away every game. Roberts has been the best player for BFC this season and has excellent set piece danger throw ins yet he cannot even get a job selling hot dogs in the stadium, what is the real reason why Roberts is constantly dropped ??? are they keeping him under wraps because they already know he is ta ta in January for a million quid ??

I have seen Jesus play more times than Simeon Jackson this season and Matt Smith may as well sit with me nodding off in the stands along with the other 8,000 poor sods.

I hope Mansford rings our house begging for the season ticket money next season because my coin will be going elsewhere, I will pick and choose games and just have the jolly boys outings to away trips instead.

I would rather see them go for it every game and lose 3 2 than watching this boring drivel.

Johnson has until Christmas I think, unless he picks up his b*llox and changes it then he will be going to get an invite to the dance

I'd agree with pretty much everything in this post.

By the way I nodded off too.

I nod off for 10 minutes every game. I calculate that i'll spend 2.5 games this season asleep in my seat.

Whitey - You have your opinion I have mine - and mine is Johnson's cracks are showing

Like you Whitey I go week in week out you have your opinions so do I, but I'm sure somebody as intelligent as you obviously are can see when you are having the p*ss took out of you can't you ?

I don't want him sacked far from it, but the bare facts and truth is, that if Johnson carry's on with this tippy tappy negative one up front tactics and does not change it, then come Christmas we will be bottom 8 again (aka Wilson) and back to square one and Mansford will be giving politicians answers to us whilst we scratch around looking for another manager.

The natives are getting restless already and are bored to tears, Mansford keeps harping on about how excellent the club's support is particularly away from home, and he's right, they don't deserve the support with the boring tripe they are playing at present.

Crewe, Donny and Blackpool, possibly the worst teams I have seen for a long time at a professional standard, yet Johnson sinks to their level with his awful tactics and costs us.

I thought you knew enough about football Whitey to be a happy clapper yes man

I hope Johnson turns it around, changes the tactics and team selection and proves us all wrong, otherwise it's groundhog day all over again

Have to agree with Wath and West Melton tbh. Everyone could see they were parking the bus second half and our tactics were never gonna break them down. To leave it until the 81st minute before bringing Smith on was a complete joke. Sometimes you have to go long and pick up the pieces and get people in and around the box. Crewe were comfortable and we hardly threatened. Johnson's post match interview sounds deluded and naive. The selection of Townsend is bizarre and Davies must be gutted to lose his place. Smith must be thinking he needs to find another club in January cos he can't get a game here.

Re: Whitey - You have your opinion I have mine - and mine is Johnson's cracks are sho

I agree with everything you've said really , it's rubbish , but to be honest I've been to every home game this season and some away including last week at Donny and even though its boring we really should have won on the performances.

The problem in my opinion is that we have no presence up front ,I've said it before and I'll say it again Winnall is pretty much rubbish, yes he's a fans favourite and he scores a few goals but he's no striker no target man ,when we get up the flanks there's no one waiting like a Chris o Grady figure.

I think the teams pretty good,Davies back in goal ,defence is good and Roberts is equal to either Nyatanga or Mawson, full backs good ,midfield is good with the exception of Hourihane who is none existent with both attempts and play making and up front that's where it falls ,if we're going one up we need someone who is targetable and frightens the living day lights out of the defence

That's the reason we can't score to win these matches that we should have won on performances in my opinion and unfortunately LJ is now under pressure as with Wilson because this is a results industry and dwindling season ticket sale are just around the corner ,now that really is the end ...

I don't necessarily disagree with your opinion and in particular, lots of the issues you've raised are issues I and others see also. It's just that you are only ever seen on here when a manager is under pressure, and you're first in the queue to call for their removal.

As I say, much to deliberate over regards LJ. But happy clapper or not, I just get tired of us sacking managers.

I'm happy to see LJ continue, and I hope he does learn/change. But it's nowhere near as bad (our position etc) as is being made out. We've been unlucky in the last two, even the biggest critic would agree surely?

However, if it is true that he applied for the Rotherham vacancy, I hope he's sacked. I hope to get some answers on that shortly.

Whitey, believe me I don't want him or anyone sacked ,but this is entertainment and a results industry ,I pay to be entertained at Oakwell and as a business the team need to perform to create the revenue to catapult forward and to generate new money .

He's under pressure make no bones ,I unfortunately live under pressure also because I'm also in a business and need to make my companies perform.

If he has applied for the ROtherham job then I have no sympathy with him either and I personally do not want him at OAkwell leading our team as he's obviously not committed to the job in hand.no smoke without fire so unfortunately there will be some sort of truth in it.

I think you have hit the nail on the head with regard to our attack.

We were up against an obviously frail team today.

If Winnall didn't throw his arms about so much in terms of club support, anguish or through his perceived bad luck, he'd be on the chopping block.

He does not get sufficient support, but a certain clinical finish from time to time will not forever forgive a lack of pace and overall footballing skill
