Heard something then read somewhere it probably wasn't a shooting. Think it'd be bigger news if true.

I heard about it yesterday but I've seen nothing to corroborate it.

One thing's for sure, the whole of the Reds starting eleven will have been eliminated from police enquiries. They haven't got a shot among 'em.

    They had 18 on Saturday.

No evidence that a firearm was used but a man in custody on suspicion of firearms offences?

Worsboro Common B were at home against Bentley. Game abandoned due to a drive - by shooting as someone posted on the Sunday league forum.

The man they expected to have a gun, has a gun, but there's no evidence to suggest he's used it.

    Probably.

But gunshots were supposedly heard, hence why the police were called. But it wasn't gunshots but man arrested for firearms offences.

    Sumert dunt stack up.

Maybe he was armed and just making a loud banging noise with a piece of 4x2 and an old tin bin lid?
