    What a top bloke, mature beyond his years. A feel good story, the likes of which we don't see anywhere near enough. It also goes to show Lee Johnson made the right decision when appointing him captain during the Summer.
    Well done, Alfie. My new favourite player.

    I've got a new favourite player. And a bit more pride in my club than I had 10 minutes ago. Well done Alfie, Lee and all at Barnsley FC - a very humbling article that suggest Barnsley FC are attempting to do things right. It's not just about winning football matches.

    Still think the name of the award should change though.

    Brilliant stuff Alfie, and all the rest of the players and staff who go out and make contact with fans like that.

    Reading stuff like this makes you wonder why so many complain about the club and suggest we need to sack the manager. I think something really good is building at Oakwell these days and I hope that it continues to grow. Wonderful read.
