Might have to give game a miss, according to Chronicle there's a reunion of 2 popular local 60's groups. One is the Downbeats, never heard of them, the other is Me & Them, or the 4 remaining members. First group from Barnsley to get a recording contract, saw them many many times and even more when the 5-piece split and a trio called 3 of Them formed and were resident at the Corner Pin for a year or 2.
The 5-piece split at the end of the 3record deal George Davis reformed 3 of Them, eventually he went solo but was killed in a car crash coming back from a gig in Hull in the 70's.

His son , Lee was travelling with him that day and he suffered bad injuries and lost the sight in one eye! I was at junior school with Lee and spent lots of time at their house playing with his Dads musical stuff. Horrible time when it happened.
