Play well, win games, people will go We are rarely doing either these day's. No surprise that not many folk have taken the offer up
Not seen it advertised anywhere other than the official sites and tucked away at the bottom of a page in the middle of the programme
I'm going with either my dad or the hubby but I haven't bought the tickets yet. Maybe other people are as unorganised as me?
Would do better if it was advertised better. Our club seem to only care about those with internet access. I've not heard the offer on the radio, mentioned in the local paper etc but I could be wrong. You can watch championship football at John Smiths Stadium on Tuesday night against MK Dons in what they are calling a "Town For A Tenner" deal. I've seen it advertised in the Huddersfield Examiner, posters around town, heard it on Pulse radio. I know more about their offer than thousands of our fans will be aware of our own deal.
Well, in true Barnsley FC style it is really difficult to know how to order the 2 for 1 tickets. On the ticket buying page it says twice in capital and larger red font 'click here' to get the 2 for 1 offer and states that if you don't click there you can't get it. However, when you click either of those links you get a pop up to log in to their server, which of course I cannot do. To actually get to the offer you need to click on the 'special offers' tab lower down the page near the stadium map. I imagine a lot of people will be stumped and just wont end up bothering.
The chronicle is only bought by around 24,000 people. Of that a large section won't bother to read the sports section at all. Out of interest where in the chronicle is it advertised and how big is the advert?
