Season ticket goes back if that cnuty bsatard ends up with the job again.

It'd never, ever, ever, ever happen that he'd apply, or that we'd be interested; but, for posterity, I'd sooner have the ebola virus in charge, and they could dig up Myra Hindley as its assistant, than Hill.

I'd prefer Hill than, say, a Kevin Blackwell-Chris Morgan axis of evil.

    I'm prepared to negotiate.

I'd love him here in all honesty, at least we know that it would be the refs fault every week and not the team...

He's been appointed in some advisory role at qpr though, I doubt he'd fancy taking a job like this on at his time of life, easier to take the dollar 'advising' with the pressure of results on a younger person.

Lynch mob? Wilson aside name me a manager unfairly sacked since Ritchie?

Robins walked out, Hill had given up, we could all see it by his body language & Flitcroft lost the plot

I'm not suggesting we make a change of manager, as much as what we are watching is tough to watch, but I've got to admit that I've a lot of time for Colin and Evans. They're as close as you can get to managers who see the game in its simplest form- play to win and attack the opposition, getting the most out of "average" players. Although I can't abide Sheff Utd, they were an absolute shambles when he took over from Adrian Heath, and got his success from blending the kids (Montgomery, Jagielka etc) with more experienced pros. And he was given time to do it. Not always pretty, but they went out to beat everyone they played. Post-Warnock, they've done pretty much what we have, with bigger gates, foreign "investment" and got similar results.

Ridiculous to sack him in the first place. We were a couple of wingers and a forward away from a good team. The serial whingers on here got what they wanted and look where it's got us.

Saying that though, 79% wanted him to stay as manager when he was sacked and there was no calling for his head at matches so I think the board needs to take all the blame on that one. I have no doubt in my mind that if he was given time as people are saying LJ should get, he would have turned us around. I just haven't had the same interest in BFC at all since he was sacked.

Could apply to most of our performances and managers since 2007 give or take the odd bit of decent form.

I don't think he was clueless to be honest. Our better players that we have now were brought in by Wilson (including Williams when he gets back to fitness). He was screwed over with injuries and the hold up of the O'Sullivan transfer which wasn't his fault. I know all managers have to put up with injuries and I believe he would have done, he just wasn't given the chance to do so, he was sacked without being given any time to act upon it.

The best football we have played in ages under any manager was in the run up to the Chezzy away game then we lost Winnall, Williams and Cole who had been at the forefront of a pretty attacking team. So to tide us over until January reinforcements we started playing defensively which worked well at home (we had won 4 out of 5 prior to the sacking) and not so well away. For you and others this wasn't good enough you wanted change and got what you wanted but still continue whining.

Yes I wanted change but to be honest I was against Wilson coming back in the first place.

It proved to be the disaster I knew it would be!

What part of Jimmy's post describes a disastrous situation? Other than the sacking bit of course.

I'm gonna down a pint of battery acid after the Walsall game, as soon as I get back & read some of the posts on here.
If I survive that I'n gonna put my name forward, after all I took Colchester Utd to the Premier League in 2004 in Championship Manager.
