More fans are not bothering to turn up under LJ than DW, whether that is down to the affection fans had for DW for what he did 1st time round i don't know what is clear is that fans are starting to stay away.
Stay aways more likely to be those not willing to fork out £27 or whatever it is now. I can understand someone's reluctance to pay that if they are not a committed supporter (ie someone who will go rain or shine, Champions League or Fourth Division). The casual floaters are drifting away I'm afraid. Years ago we used to have the "faithful 5,000" and then it dipped to the "faithful 2,000". It's hovering around the 8 mark now but that could easily reduce as times goes by.
You could be right POR, but still the fact remains attendances are down and that is one of the reasons given for DW's sacking
The figure of fans not coming that they worry about is season ticket holders and presumably those that miss on a regular basis.
