His technique is abysmal. Tries to control a ball by letting it hit him, but then has no clue where it might go next.

Totally shown up in the air by Jackson who won more than he lost.

I'd send him, & Wilkinson back and give someone with a bit of interest in having a career as a pro footballer a chance.

Very harsh, especially based on limited appearances. I didn't think he was too bad tonight.

Agree he looks awful and less likely to score than the centre halves.

6 foot 5 and is actually smaller when he jumps for a ball.

Absolutely woeful from what I've seen.

Got bullied off the ball by their 5 foot 6 left back.

I hate criticising our own players, but I have seen far better player in non league.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this was Smith's first start in a bfc shirt? Perhaps he should have put himself about a bit more but overall I didn't think he was that bad. I'm a big fan of Winall's and yes he was played out of his natural position but I thought he was shocking tonight!!

We haven't seen enough of him to write him off yet. Surely his record at Swindon gives us some hope?

When a pro footballer can't control the ball there is something wrong.

When a 6 ft 5 striker can't outjump a 5ft9 defender, there is something wrong.

He just looks like a lumbering mess.

Maybe we're not playing to his strengths. I'd just like to see a pro footballer get the basics right.

I agree with you fella, the lad needs game time before we can write him off, same goes for Jackson too!

18 goals in League One last season and almost signed for Sheff Utd for 500k before Clough left.

Oh but he's had one bad game so he is worse than non league, shouldn't even be a footballer and we should send him back. Give me a break.

I guess you missed that fantastic ball out to Wabara?

I was chuffed to bits when we signed him. He's made several appearances now and his effort is poor, and his application is dbious to say the least. I expected so much more.

I would be absolutely delighted if he makes this post look ridiculous, (whilst playing at Oakwell) and I will offer him an unreserved apology.

I didn't think he was too bad. You need to give him a few games before judging.

The woeful balls into the box were the real problem tonight. Wabara's deliveries were awful, at one point he managed to find a slightly confused Harris right on the other touchline, with the whole penalty area to aim at. Pearson took a couple of awful free kicks too. Smith played pretty well, but seems to have a nosebleed when he reaches the halfway line.

Scowen only player that could leave the field with his head up.

We didn't get forward enough & no one was getting into the box.

Winnall was lost at sea. Terrible early miss too.

Not good signs. Need a win vs Fleetwood, else we could be free falling.

When he came to Oakwell with Swindon he won every header, held the ball up superbly and generally gave Cranie a torrid time. The lad must be short of confidence after having a slow start to the season and being loaned out to sit on the bench. A proper run in the team is what he needs.

I actually thought both him & Jackson did well on very limited service. I wanted to see some crosses into the box that he could challenge for but he never got them so it's hard to judge

Exactly this, if he offers nothing after a run of games in the side then send him back to Swindon, but to write him off after his first league start for the club is a bit hasty IMO. I believe there may have been a few on this board slating Winall at the start of last season and look how many he scored despite missing 3 months of the campaign due to inury.

He was to$$. But everything about our team is right now. He scored goals for fun last season, in one of the most exciting teams in the league. We were all creaming our pants when he signed. He hasn't turned into a $hit player overnight. Yet again we've landed ourselves with a manager, who has assembled a squad that is massively underperforming
