Wanted Danny sacked and want LJ to do better than he currently is doing or he'll have to be sacked as well. Times have changed you don't get the time any more, if we get dragged down with the chance of going in to league 2 or are consistently looking over our shoulder at the bottom half then that's just not acceptable. After the length of time we spent at championship level we need to be challenging to get back or well it's just not worth thinking about going down to league 2, it would be disastrous for our town.

I need the option that says that I definitely didn't want Danny sacked and I couldn't give 2 hoops whether LJ is or not. I had absolute trust in Danny to get it right and never ever felt like we were going to be anything like relegated with him in charge. The timing of the sacking of Danny broke something within me in regards to BFC and I cant see me getting attached to any other manager for a very long time.

Edit: I've gone for the 4th one as I don't think LJ should be sacked at this moment in time, that doesn't mean that I don't think he should soon though if we lost more games in quick succession.

Interesting to see that 81% of people have voted that they didn't want Danny sacked which is in keeping with the polls at the time.

Pretty much as above didn't want Danny sacked but am pretty ambivalent towards Johnson but it's too early to be thinking about sacking him. At the moment the team is poor both to watch and in terms of results and I don't have much faith that it can be turned round.

It'll need a new poll if we pong and lose toneet. Reflect the changes in opinion match by match. Or can people change their vote?

My vote remains the same, even though I can't vote, but my opinion above remains the same - totally apathetic as to whether a manager is sacked. I won't call for it but I'll not be fussed if he does. The last sacking made me feel this way.

Has the poll result changed after last night's pathetic attempt at playing football?

Again, out of interest. If we charged £5 for a game would that tempt you back? Even just as a one off. At this point I could put forward my opinion on why I think it's a good idea, but I'd like to know your thoughts on it. If I was running such a promotion you are exactly the type of fan I would be attempting to target.

I can only judge what is happening on the pitch from what I read on here, media reporting and by talking to my friend 'Afie's Dad' who posts on here who's opinion I trust.

I had an offer late yesterday afternoon for a corporate freebie in the legend's suite. I had already arranged to go to the cinema on my cineworld card which means if I cancelled it wouldn't have cost me anything. I went to the pictures.

Why ? I really cannot work up any enthusiasm to go to the matches at all for the reasons I put in my original post.

I think I maybe a lost cause to BFC and it actually saddens me, so I have to say that if it was £5 a ticket I really don't think it would interest me, maybe a possibility if it was dem blades.

The thing to me is that there is more than the financial cost it is the opportunity cost of the time that I could use doing something else.

My vote is still the same, just !
If he went I would not be upset about it though.
The results of the poll so far dont seem to have changed much, maybe one vote change to him going!

Bottom line for me, the vast weight of evidence suggests sacking a manager so often, doesn't help. If anything, it's made matters worse. Why would I so happily repeat that?

If he gets the sack it will sound a massive vote of no confidence in the people who run the club, for me.

    I still say stick.

Yeah, I get that. The chances are that if you watch a club like Barnsley, it's going to be ****. That's true of most football teams unless they happen to be in promotion winning form that year or they're Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and even those fans have tasted what most of us have to endure in recent seasons. I just think far more people are likely to take the risk of it not being **** if it only costs a fiver. In many cases it's not that £25 is unaffordable (although I appreciate that is true for some), it's that it's unjustifiable. And the last thing such people want is two lots of **** for £25 taking up two periods of their spare time in one week. Twice as much **** for the same price as you'd normally pay for one lot is not an attractive proposition and that's why I was so against the latest BFC promotion. It couldn't work and didn't.

If we do charge a fiver, do manage to tempt people through the gate and we are ****, then those people won't come back to pay full price. As an exercise to get more people coming down to Oakwell on a regular basis, the initiate will have failed. But on the off chance we play well and win handsomely, I am of the opinion that the enjoyment people experience and the feel good factor it creates will make them want to return.

Having said all that my research in to this has so far involved questioning one person and I have a 100% failure rate in tempting them back to the club in an imaginary scenario that only costs £5.

FWIW as far as I can see only one person has changed their vote......from Not wanting Wilson or Johnson to be sacked, to not wanting Wilson to be sacked but wanting Johnson out.

    Poll is irrelevant
Plenty of polls during Danny Boys tenure last season but made not a jot of difference.
    The bullet eventually was fired.

The point of it wasn't to be relevant or otherwise, it was just to see what people thought, especially since the subject of Wilson came up and who wanted/didnt want him sacked.
