I think folk need to chill art, no? The poll wasn't my creation, for once. I never do public polls, where you can see who voted for which option. However, the creator of this poll did do that, and thus the names are there for all to see on the poll/thread. I have merely copied and pasted them here into this thread. If people find that naughty of me, then said people need to blame the poll creator. If their excuse is "I didn't realise it was a public poll for everyone to see" then you need to read things carefully in future. LJ has forgiven you all anyway, may he have mercy on your souls. And to be fair, it dunt tek a poll or a blacklist to tell you who wants him out. You can change your vote though at any time, until Monday. LJ would love that, he'd welcome you back into the fold I'm sure. Just repeat "on the grass" five times and cup your ********. Job's a good un. You Reds. You short termist, quick tempered, trigger happy reds.
Wrong. Click this link: http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?233687-Poll-Stick-or-Twist-the-last-two-managers Then, on the poll section at the top, click on a number at the side of each option, and it shows who voted for which option. It's been like this forever, mate. So put that spade down. You want him out, so what? Nowt to be ashamed of. He forgives you.
I have no idea, pal. I didn't look at the names for any great length of time. The creator of this thread was asking those who want LJ out if they'll change their mind etc. I thought I'd make it clear who they were, so they'd hopefully answer. Like the nice man I am. Ahem.
Sorry, I wasn't meant to reply to your post specifically, bad form on my part. Was more of a general '**** you I don't care' response to the haterrrzzz (of L to the J).
It's cheered me up. By the way, I'm behind LJ all the way. But what if we keep on losing? The club will sack him eventually, each consecutive defeat will tot up to that inevitability no doubt.
If there had been an option saying "I didn't want Flicker or Danny sacked, nor do I want LJ sacked, but mainly because I don't see it making much of a difference" then I'd have gone for that un. And with that am off for a bath. You Reds.
aye. there's always a limit. just baffles me, how so many people think sacking the manager every 9-12 months is helping. it's not. this pressure to sack managers is part of the problem, not the solution. if flicker hadn't already been our manager, i've no doubt people would be looking at what he's done at bury and saying he was the man for us. it's madness.
The options make the choice a bit stark. I didn't actually want Danny sacked...although it was beginning to look inevitable, same for Hill. But I do think LJ should have more time. I'm in agreement with many that the Football hasn't been the most exciting. I didn't think the Swindon or Gills wins were too much to get excited about, but by the same token I didn't think the Donny or Crewe defeats were too much to panic over. (I couldn't make Walsall)...overall I think we have a reasonable squad and providing LJ learns the lessons ...which remains to be seen...could be going in the right direction.
I'm not a fan of LJ and have always thought he was a strange choice in the first place. I really hope he proves me wrong and turns things around as quickly as possible. In all honesty we can't afford to sack him but neither can we afford the drop into league 2. He desperately needs a win on Saturday and I really hope it happens, not just for him but for everyone connected with BFC. If we lose to Fleetwood and again at Scunny next week then I really think his job becomes untenable. Whether people voted to sack him or not, I fail to see how anyone would want him to stay if that happens.
