In adversity we find strength. Now is the time to show what a great bunch of supporters we really are. We are within a gnats bolluck of hitting our stride. We need to keep the faith. Little hiccup and kick on.
In the karma sutra book of football I think I've taken to adopting the missionary position. Not very innovative but reliable and it always gets you there in the end. You know where you're going. You know where you're coming from and the opposition always gets a good hammering.
I keep hearing people say we aren't a million miles off getting it right but scoring goals from open play is the hardest thing to do in football. For example it's a lot easier to come in & tighten up a leaky defence or to come in to a club & get performances out of underperforming players
The thing whats annoying me at the moment is the goals from open play, if we were scoring 2+ a game and still losing then we'd be showing it is almost there but, we aren't so that shows itself we are a million miles off being a play off contender, i'd be very surprised if LJ or another manager if the inevitable happens get us in the play-offs, we needed a strong start, and we ****** it up
In my opinion we are miles away from hitting our stride. That's to say we won't get there (wherever there is) long term, but anyone that thinks we are close to being a team competing at the top end of the league is wrong. I'd love to be wrong about that, I really would, but I see little to be encouraged about this season. There's so much wrong with the team, tactics, squad, powers that be, whoever, that it's hard to know what the real key factors are in our struggles.
