Should all your levels be topped up on a 12,000 miles full service? I've looked under the bonnet and both the power steering fluid and brake fluid levels are still close to the minimum line. The washer bottle is only half filled as well. I'm £168 lighter and beginning to wonder what I've just paid for.
I'd be more worried why the levels have dropped so much after only 12,000 miles. According to Halfords, the full service should include topping up. http://www.halfordsautocentres.com/advice/servicing-advice/car-servicing-whats-included
Probably because it wasn't done on my last 12,000 mile service either. I only looked because I'd noticed a few things were getting low last time I had the bonnet up.
Those levels you mentioned should have been checked and topped up. If not, just what are you paying for? £168 for an oil and filter change? That's assuming they've done that as well! Challenge the garage on it.
If the brake fluid is low it could indicate a leak in the pipes somewhere. As the brakes are an essential safety item on a car I'd be inclined to look into this further. Sent from my C5303 using Tapatalk
