Lallana? Sterling? Although it'll end up being someone who is on the bench most weeks and has under 10 caps for England
"It has always been such a macho game" Has it ****. It's been played by a bunch of wimps for last decade at least. I have no interest in who they are btw because it doesn't matter. I don't care who's gay.
I couldn't care less. I don't know or reaoly want to know the sexuality of many footballers to be honest so why would I suddenly want to know the sexuality of two unnamed random footballers?
If we lose today there will be moral outrage if Lee Jay and his mate are still in post by Midnight! Lets hope we win. You Reds!
If we win then its a small step to a possible recovery and will ease the pressure on all concerned! Can't see where haters come into the equation
I agree with Ponty, the game is so far from being macho I don't think it will be an issue. Most fans won't care, nor will most players, I just don't see the big issue here. For the record I think it is Sterling. I've always thought he would come out at some point.
People care because it shows the world is moving with the times that football players are finally coming out.
