That's just it. Take Gary Monk for instance, came in did a fantastic job for his first couple of seasons, gave continuity to the existing squad and did excellent in the following season. With the board selling players an Inevitable slump in performances ensues. He would have been sacked by now if this were oakwell as some past managers can confirm.
He's only the head coach pursuing the club's strategy is he not ? Otherwise he'd be the manager. If he gets sacked then those that put the strategy in place must surely go too ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He's not helping himself I agree but we seem to think it's a surprise that yet another manager is struggling at Barnsley. There must be a constant somewhere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'd rather not sack another. But he can go for me purely because the style of football and tactics are far from what the average bfc fan wishes to see. Half the time it just doesn't make sense. But. I feel for him in some respects because here we are again. Same as the last few managers. And I don't think it's all down to him but who else can take the flack....... The top needs changing in my eyes before we start chopping and changing more managers. I'd keep mansford but everyone else on the board including the owner can do one as far as I'm concerned.
